This right applies regardless of whether you have previously provided consent to receive marketing communications.
BackPing LLC operates as a lead generation business. When you submit an inquiry through one of our forms, your personal information — including your name, phone number, email address, and inquiry details — is transferred to third-party Service Partners who may contact you for marketing purposes. This transfer constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under applicable privacy law, even when no money is exchanged.
Because BackPing LLC facilitates connections between users and third-party Service Partners, an opt-out request will limit our ability to process your inquiry. If you opt out, we will be unable to share your information with Service Partners and therefore unable to fulfill your request for a referral or connection. Opting out does not affect personal information already shared prior to the date of your request.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require reasonable verification that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf before processing the request.
If your browser or device transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal indicating an opt-out preference, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request for the sale and sharing of personal information from that browser or device, as required by applicable law.
We will process your request within fifteen (15) business days of receipt. We will not ask you to provide a reason for your request and will not penalize you for exercising this right.
